CREAM CHEESE DANISH






2 CANS REFRIGERATED CRESSANT ROLLS DOUGH

2- 8 OUNCE PACKAGES CREAM CHEESE

1 CUP SUGAR

1 EGG

1 TEASPOON VANILLA

OPTIONAL - FRUIT OF CHOICE

LINE A 9X13 GREASED BAKING DISH WITH ONE CAN OF THE DOUGH.

CREAM THE CREAM CHEESE, SUGAR, ONE EGG AND VANILLA TOGETHER. SPREAD ON TOP OF THE DOUGH, ADD FRUIT IF DESIRED. TOP THIS WITH THE SECOND CAN OF CRESSANT DOUGH, (SEAL THE EDGES OF THE TRIANGLES). BRUSH DOUGH WITH AN EGG WHITE WASH AND BAKE AT 350 FOR 25-30 MINUTES, OR TILL GOLDEN BROWN. DRIZZLE WARM DANISH WITH GLAZE.

GLAZE

½ CUP POWDERED SUGAR

2 TABLESPOONS MILK

½ TEASPOON VANILLA

1 TABLESPOON MELTED BUTTER

THIS DANISH MAY ALSO HAVE A CINNAMON SUGAR TOPPING INSTEAD OF THE GLAZE. MIX CINNAMON AND SUGAR TOGETHER AND SPRINKLE ON TOP OF THE TOP CRESSANT DOUGH AFTER BRUSHING IT WITH MELTED BUTTER.
