Mac and Cheese

ONE POUND ELBOW MACARONI
ONE STICK BUTTER
6 TABLESPOONS FLOUR
1 TEASPOON SALT
PEPPER TO TASTE
4 CUPS MILK
4 CUPS CHEDDAR CHEESE

MAY ADD OTHER CHEESES TO TASTE

BOIL THE MACARONI PER BOX INSTRUCTIONS AND DRAIN WELL.
MELT THE BUTTER IN A POT AND STIR IN THE FLOUR, SALT AND PEPPER. COOK THE FLOUR/BUTTER MIXTURE A FEW MINUTES TO COOK OFF THE FLOUR FLAVOR. ADD THE MILK AND STIR OVER MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL IT JUST BEGINS TO BOIL AND THICKEN. REMOVE FROM THE HEAT AND ADD THE CHEESE, STIR UNTIL MELTED. ADD THE DRAINED MACARONI AND MIX IN THE CHEESE MIXTURE. POUR INTO A GREASED 9X13 BAKING DISH AND BAKE AT 350 FOR HALF AN HOUR OR UNTIL BUBBLY THRUOUT.
