RUSSIAN TEACAKES

1 CUP BUTTER
1/2 CUP POWDERED SUGAR
1 TSP VANILLA
2 & 1/4 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1/4 TSP SALT
3/4 CUP FINELY CHOPPED NUTS


MIX BUTTER, SUGAR AND VANILLA TOGETHER, THEN ADD FLOUR SALT AND NUTS. CHILL DOUGH.

HEAT OVEN TO 400. ROLL DOUGH INTO BALLS APPROX 1", AND PLACE ON BAKING SHEET. BAKE 10-12 MINUTES OR UNTIL SET BUT NOT BROWN,
ROLL IN POWDERED SUGAR AND COOL, THEN REROLL IN MORE POWDERED SUGAR.
