SUE'S DEEP DISH PUMPKIN PIE



1 DEEP DISH PIE CRUST

1 & 1/2 CUPS CANNED PUMPKIN
3/4 CUP SUGAR
1/2 TEASPOON SALT
1 & 1/4 TEASPOON GROUND CINNAMON
1 TEASPOON GROUND GINGER
1/2 TEASPOON GROUND NUTMEG
1/2 TEASPOON GROUND CLOVES
1 TEASPOON VANILLA
3 EGGS, BEATEN
1 & 1/4 CUPS MILK
1 - 6 OUNCE CAN EVAPORATED MILK

LINE DEEP DISH PIE PAN WITH CRUST AND CRIMP THE EDGES, FILLING IS GENEROUS.
COMBINE THE REST OF THE INGREDIENTS UNTIL WELL BLENDED. POUR INTO PREPARED CRUST
BAKE AT 400 FOR 50 MINUTES OR UNTIL A KNIFE INSERTED IN THE MIDDLE COMES OUT CLEAN.

THIS IS NANA’S FAVORITE PIE OF ALL TIME, AND SHE REQUESTED IT AT EVERY HOLIDAY MEAL.
